For the latest entry we're going to do a little jump back in time. The pictures that follow are from Friday -- but not yesterday Friday...the Friday before that. Yes, the Friday that came before the party I posted pictures from last weekend. Got that? Good.

The night was fairly uneventful, which is probably why I forgot that it happened altogether. I met up with Yeny, Christy and Victor for a night of driving around trying to figure out what the hell we wanted to do. Eventually we ended up at Toi (a Thai food restaurant on Sunset). The images are what followed...

But first a moment from Elvis at the Chinese Theater.

What you need to know about Yeny and Christy is that they're real Latinas. They don't take no crap from nobody -- even if you're loco. Luckily I'm on their good side.

Meet Yeny.

Meet Christy.

Meet me getting pissed off that nobody could make up their mind on what they wanted to do that night.

Christy was a little jealous that she wasn't invited to Victor's photoshoot the next afternoon. To compensate, she decided to show Victor what he was missing.

I took another approach to the camera method. It was called "get that thing out of my face."

World's most awkward young man.

Tai makes us dance.

And that's the end.

The week was pretty uneventful. I took Friday off work because I was already over on hours. Earlier that week I missed out on three (count 'em, three) free screenings. On Monday I skipped Bad News Bears, Tuesday I missed NY Dolls and Wed I was running late for the Skeleton Key. What the heck.

This week I'm supposed to see the Aristocrats on Monday night, Grizzly Man (supposed to be quite a movie) on Tuesday and Broken Flowers (the new Bill Murray) on Wed. On Thursday I already have tickets to see Psycho/Rear Window as a double bill. That should be super exciting on the big screen. If anyone is interested in tagging along for Monday or Tuesday's screenings, they're free -- and I have one more ticket for each. Let me know...

Last night I saw Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark on the biggie followed by Close Encounters of the Third Kind. That was exceptionally awesome because it was far better than seeing them on video. The prints were in pretty good shape as well. I was a very happy boy. Today I want to see Charlie and the Chocolate factory on the IMAX. It was the first time I'd seen a full-lengther on the huge screen...and it was GREAAAT. I can't wait until they re-release the Polar Bear Express in 3-D on the IMAX this fall. I missed it last year and I hear it's fantastic.

So if you're asking "has he seen any movies lately?" the answer is HELL YES.

Have a good weekend everyone...and there you go Alex, you got your update ;-)
