Last night was truly one of the finest evenings I have ever spent. Steve Shockley and Brandon Barger graced me with their loveliness and cooked a magnificent dinner that caused us all to make sexlike noises until every plate was empty. Accompanied with dinner was blackberry wine spritzers and cabernet, which made for drunkenness-induced post-dinner waltzing to Golden Brown blasting on the speakers. After dinner we picked up Marlena, who joined us at the Southgate House for a practically private concert: no mic, and just one guy on the piano. It was beautiful. After Southgate, we went to Busken's and got a chocolate mousse cake in honor of Brandon's 20th birthday and took swigs of rum from a rootbeer bottle. Then we went back to Brandon's, ate cake, listened to music, fell out of chairs, giggled, talked and laughed. Then we all passed out on various soft and plushy surfaces.
This morning was a mass of machiattos, birthday songs, mint julep face masks, and egg and cheese bread with roma tomatoes.
And right after I write this entry I'm meeting my boyfriend who I haven't seen in two days who is going to give me pretty presents and kissy kissy with me.
I am a thoroughly satisfied girl right now.
