I read it in The Guardian and his birthday was also discussed at your national radio this morning.
He truly shows that one person can make a difference.

He was hoping to raise £1000! Instead he has had an outpouring of affection and honour towards him as well as the £31 mill to the NHS united charity (there is also the heightened awareness to that, too). Sometimes all we need is a symbol to remind us, and this is the guy who literally stepped out :)

Indeed - it is a shame that it takes an international crisis for the likes of him to be recognised, but he is certainly an extraordinary man who did this purely to honour the folks so many of us are relying on to look after our health, regardless of risk.
