So I changed my account mode from Free to "Sponsored+", the recently-introduced account option for one's Livejournal. It shows ads on one's Livejournal and friends page in exchange for providing some features usually reserved for Paid or Early Adopter accounts (e.g. more user pics, online storage space, etc.). Then 15 minutes later I killed the ads from all my journal pages. Ah, the wonders of {color: #000} and {display:none}.

Silly Livejournal.

Then I figured out I would never use the extra crap and went back to a free account.
