So everybody has started their school again and I have had the priviledge to talk with many of you through AOL. Although I don't like the program too much (I think it's ugly) the fact that most of you americans don't you other instant messaging programs makes me ok with it 'cos i can contact you guys through it.
I started my diploma work on Monday and it certainly is a lot of work. For two days I made growth media for my fungi cultivation; 143 bottles all together - not that I'm counting! And the next day I had to cultivate them all - well almost all - with my 9 strains of fungi. But this is just the beginning, now I'm waiting for them to grow. We went through the wares of the researchgroups of our faculty to find some pentachlorophenol but we couldn't find any. We just found different poisons like 4-chlorophenol, arochlor and other polychlorinated hydrocarbons which all are really dangerous stuff. But ok, now I have to stop talking this odd stuff...
I'm really excited about moving! I've gone through my cupboards and collected different kind of stuff to sell on flea market. I want to get rid of extra junk, that you always find floating around your appartment and which seems to multiply exponentially. The timing is excellent when you're moving.. I found interesting stuff also, some pieces of ceramics, which are made by this well-known finnish designer straigth from the seventies. I don't like how they look - not really my style - but you can get quite a lot of $$$ from them 'cos those designers from '50´s-'70´s are very popular here right now. Just have a lot of stuff to pack.. but I think we can manage. We have to throw a party to our woonderful neighbors - we have really been lucky with those bastards, they are awfully nice and it's a shame to leave them behind. Wonder what kind of the new ones will be...?
I'm really happy how the things really are right now. My life is just sooooo good to be true! I'm a lucky bastard ;)
And I'm happy for you people to share with me things that are going on in your life. I'm especially happy for... well you now who you are!! :D And for Whitney I hope all the best in Scotland and lots of excellent moments with original english cider - it's rules, totally!!!
I hope I will make entries more often -my lazy ass - but i'm sure I won't be as productive as Chris, I can't understand where he gets all the time and energy to make all those entries!! hahhahaa
Now I'll go to do some packing and enjoy the Saturday evening with the love of my life. See ya!
