First Day High
I'm a little surprised that someone named MJ Brana added me up in facebook. I'm not sure what got me off guard more... could it be the fact that she has the exact last name (a total rarity I assure you)? Could it be the fact that she's either been to Halifax or currently resides here. (no idea w/c) Or maybe that after months of ignoring the friend request I accidentally click the okay button and within the span of an hour she sends me a message on facebook.

thnx for adding me..jaz wondering kung taga san ka sa atin sa pinas? im from cagayan de oro ung erpats ko origin nila sa ilo-ilo pero lumaki za sa marbel cotabato..baka mag kakilala lang din ung mga parents natin.
Okay... What? She seems nice enough... but the circumstances kinda weird me out a little too much.
On other news, school started today! Thank God. I couldn't wait to get out of the house for a reason that actually holds some value to my parents eyes. I know using school as an excuse to get out isn't the nicest thing to do, but seriously. Non-stop chores and boring errands like driving for the dad while he gets on your ear about the slightest mistakes you do on the road could get old.
Class 1: 230PM-345PM - Greek and Roman Civilization
Thank God that the race composition here isn't the regular 50-50 of Asians to Whites like how my usual commerce courses are. The teacher seems nice enough. He talks like a comic asshole but hey, that works for me. I acutally don't mind the cynic jabs he takes at the world and at his students. He seems more like an older buddy than a prof. I just hope he teaches like a teacher. Oh, now that I think about it, he looks like a prototype chunky bald biker... but in teahcer's clothing. I want an A+ here... now or never!
Class 2: 530PM-645PM - Intermediate Financial Accounting
Class got cancelled... woohoo.
Class 3: 700PM-815PM - Intermediate Financial Accounting Lab
Got cancelled too... ALRYT
So what do we (Me, Nico, Franny, Denise, Almira, Czeri, David, Jay, CV) do? We drop by my Tower Rd place and get my car. We drive to the Mall and have early dinner. How fun was that? Take that first day funks! :D
So here I am... deciding between blogging, reading assignments for Monday (its only Thursday) and watching either Haunting of Conneticut or Troy...
Well oh well... i'll see in a bit.
PS... I AM SO PSYCHED ABOUT THE FANTASY LEAGUE.
I already told 2 guys over here in Hali and they seem pretty eager to play the game. I'll send them invites once we finalize the logistics of the draft and such. Anyways... I miss you guys back there in the Philippines (you too Ryan over at SFU) I'll hope the plans to go back in December push through.
