Kinda sucks to be right

On the Game
Gah... I knew the Cavs would win... but I still really hoped Orlando would make me eat my words.

The Magic had a good strong run to chip off the lead. They even eventually took a 5-7pt lead. But sadly... no bananas. LeBron was quite amazing in the final quarter. 'Back-against-the-wall' LeBron is apparently a good closer unlike the mr. LeTO that showed up in Disneyworld.

I still pick the Magic to win the next game despite how some people claim LeBron will make the near impossible happen. People (the NBA forums fanatics) have said the Cavs showed great poise and strong bench play in this game. Something that would carry to the next few games. Lets be honest though. This was a HOME game for them. They are near unbeatable at home and their 39-2 record there shows it. The games the Cavs played in Disneyworld however... well blowouts would be good adjectives.

No more blazing fast starts and favorable calls next game. The Magic bench will probably come out with a purpose and I fully expect Superman 2 to show up.

4-2 when all is said an done on Saturday.

On the Playoffs

Further inspection of the final two series, I must say I've very impressed. Both sets of games feature near-even teams from a talent perspective. Deep benches, good solid play and 1-2 superstars each side. This is how the playoffs should be, a virtual tossup as compared to the LA-CLE match that the media machine hyped up.

Melo v Kobe, Dwight v LeBron. Who will will his team to its 16th win in the playoffs?

If in the Finals:

1) LA-CLE; I would say LA wins it in 6 mainly because the Lakeshow's mindset since the start of the playoffs was their eventual matchup with the CAVS. Phil Jackson would have scouted the CAVS team for all the details and points of weakness LeBron's team might have. Plus Gasol is too good for any one of the Cavs bigs.

2) DEN-CLE; This series would be, in my honest opinion would lead to either a sweep by the CAVS or just a six game series for the Nuggets despite how close the teams are talent-wise.
Melo v Brom
Buillups v Mo

heck i'd say the Nuggets have the advantage at the bigs position a well as the bench. Surprisingly this would be a good series (if Melo is up to the challenge of matching LeBron that is) This would match the best team in the regular season v arguably the best team in the playoffs.

3) DEN v ORL; I'd say Denver in 6? This would be another good finals series. In their own rights, these are two tough defensive clubs that can stroke it from outside. Melo v Pietrus! woooooo haha. Plus I really hope Dwight blocks Birdman's shot right back at his face. Or a SUPERelbow would be nice. :P

4) LA v ORL; Heh.... touch match up for the Lakeshow. They lost both meetings against the Magic despite Bynum being healthy in both. (I think) But the thing is... Jameer was the one that KILLED LA. He was the one that took over in the 4th and made all those damn shots. WIthout him, even with Rafer... I'd say the Lakers have a chance. I just might be overly biased. But c'mon... you have KOBE Bryant and another true All-Star in Gasol.

Anyways... LA DEN game 6 in a couple of hours.

Enzo IS excited. :D
