Vacation update...
Well apartment is now mostly clean... still have to tackle my bedroom and wash the floors in the kitchen and bathroom. Went out this morning to renew my plates, license and health card as they all expire today :-) Yes I have been procrastinating for weeks about this, but I did manage to time it perfectly as I walked in and there was no one in line and not 5 minutes later there were about 10 people in line behind me :-) I love when that happens...
So I now am the proud owner of a credit card... I've never have one before and in fact until I bought my car 2 years ago I had never bought anything that I didn't pay for in full. Of course not ever having any credit really bit me in the ass when I bought my car, I ended up paying a really high interest rate as I didn't have a credit history (apparently no credit history is as bad as bad credit history), so as my car will be paid off next month (almost 2 years early) I decided to apply for a credit card so that the next time I buy a car I'm not in the same situation. That being said, I have decided to make 1 purchase on the card a month and then pay it off right away, so the card will be active but not have a balance. Once the car is paid off, it will be time to start saving up for a new mattress set, the one I have is about 10 years old and it shows, no matter how often I flip it, it still has a dip :-)
