Rethinking My Play
I have for the past few days been writing a Mathnet Fanfic or Crime.net ( which I have renamed it). And I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to rethink the Characters. Especially, the original Mathnetters. I am thinking still in terms of the age they was when I last saw them on television. Which I feel is a big mistake, I can't have Pat jumping across a fence to catch a perpetrator. With age there is wisdom, I will have to write them with as such.
Which is going to be difficult because I will have to find a ingenious way for them go around certain things! Another issue with this first story is that I am having trouble trying to flush out the characters. Now my characters that I have created. I can work with because I invented them. But, with Pat, George and even Kate. I am going to have a hard time with. Especially with George's sense of Humor which is hard to master. There is also the fact that there was alot of Double Meanings in the original series. Which I am not good at to be honest.
The structure of my series is in line with original series. It was televised as a 5 parts each ended with cliffhanger. I will eventually need a partner or a beta for this series. My goal eventually is to post a part of it each week. Hopefully I can successfully complete this series.
