New Rule
Please read this entry if you have taken, or are planning on taking, any of my icons. Thank you!
It's a simple rule I should have had in the first place, but nevertheless, I didn't. Therefore, from today onwards, there's a new rule: No editing any of my icons, unless I specifically say that you can.
As I've been surfing LJ, I've spotted some icons of mine that are being used, but have been edited with new text, brushes, etc. As I'm sure any icon maker will tell you, in most cases, that's not what we like seeing. So, PLEASE DON'T DO IT! I take my time to make these icons and it makes me feel stupid when someone grabs one, slaps a bit of text on it, puts it up and has no mention of a credit whatsoever. I might as well not bother, had I? So, if you are one of the people reading this and know you have done this, please remove the offending icon(s). I can't keep track of everyone who takes my icons, as I'm guessing a lot of people take and don't comment; which is perfectly fine, as long as I'm credited! -- so I'm having to trust you to do as I ask. Those I do know of, however, I will ask you to remove them if I don't see them being removed soon.
I don't mean to be harsh, but I hope everyone understands.
