Wally-centric fics that I've read over the years. This is mostly angst because apparently that's all I read.

• our cities never sleep - the chronicles of an unexpected friendship, spanning six years, all in text messages (wally/conner friendship-centric; includes wally/artemis and conner/m'gann) [rated: T]
• sacred - zoom seeks his revenge on barry by targeting wally. (wally west/eobard thawne [zoom], barry allen/iris west) *NOTE: contains sexual assault of a minor and pseudo-incest* [rated: M/R]**
• pipes - they're invincible together, robin tells him. and wally believes. [rated: T]
• civvie - wally west's kidnappers learn what it means to be on the bad side of two super-powered teams. [rated: pg]
• minute - all it'd take to convince kid flash to walk on water to save his loved ones was sixty seconds. [rated: pg]**
• can't go back - hitting the wall. it was a concept wally had been unavoidably familiar with since his recreation of Flash's accident. (mostly gen; slight hints of wally/roy) [rated: T]
• solemn reality - it was like a scene in a movie where everything moved in slow motion, but this time there was no happy ending. no triumph. just a solemn reality none of them were ready to accept. [rated: T]
• in case of emergency - it had started as a joke, contingency plans made for various hypothetical circumstances, but then the world falls under mind-control, their mentors turning against them, and those rules made up in jest become something to survive by. birdflash (wally/dick [robin])

• of cheerleading and crossdressing - wally had to admit, he looked damned good in a cheerleading outfit. the many times wally crossdressed. [rated: pg]
• coping mechanisms for idiots - after the invasion, all wally wants to do is get his life back on track. artemis, however, wants to go back to fighting crime. no matter how much he begs and pleads for her to stay, she needs to do what makes her happy. and then there's dick. as the guy who convinced her to be a hero again, he's gotta make sure wally's happy, too. • control - wally is being emotionally and verbally abused by his family, but since it isn't phsyical, wally doesn't think it's abuse. the team finds out. *NOTE: contains emotional and verbal abuse* [rated: T/pg-13]

wally/conner [superboy]

• fright night - a little dare to see if a hospital is truly haunted or not goes a little out of hand. [rated: T]**
• age of heroes - the apocalypse has come and gone and the age of heroes is long since over. there's not much left to live for, but wally's never been one to give up without trying and maybe there are still a few miracles -- and heroes -- left in the world. (wally/conner friendsip-centric) [rated: M]**
• greetings from the twineball (wish you were here) - (my own summary) wally shows conner what it's like to have a friend and they go a lot of places together. (wally/conner friendship-centric) [rated: pg]
• shoot for the moon - "why do you care so much?" "because you promised me the moon." [rated: pg]

wally/kal [aqualad]

• just affectionate - wally doesn't get much affection from his parents, so he gets it from his aunt, uncle, and the garricks. however, when all of them leave for various reasons, wally seeks that affection from his teammates and the other mentors, much to everyone's confusion. (ultimately wally/kal) [rated: pg-13]

wally/roy [speedy, red arrow]

• some say it ends in fire - "he goes by arsenal now." roy snorts. "tell me, do you go for the dangerous ones, or just the ones who look like me?" in which red arrow leaves and roy harper comes back. wally adjusts, but only after a fashion. existentialism, denial and identity crisis follow shortly after. so does coffee. wally/other

• breathe and take you in - they're drowning. there's no way out. the pain is always worth it for the ones you love. (wally/conner/dick) [rated: T]
• schism - (my own summary) wally's powers caused his mind to split into multiple people. (multiple pairings; wally/roy, wally/artemis, wally/megan) [rated: pg-13]

DCU

• witness - oracle sees. (from oracle's POV, includes wally/linda, canon!DC verse, angst) [rated: T]

justice league

• prologue epilogue - wally has an adventure. he calls it life. [rated: T]**
• villains - it would've been a quiet night at the central city rogues' pub if the justice league hadn't fired that big laser cannon. but captain cold would never forget what happened after weather wizard ran in and shouted to turn on the tv. [rated: pg]
• alone in the dark - it took everything wally had not to panic. [rated: T]
• somewhere only we know - (crossover with young justice) uncle barry's dead. he's dead, and everyone stares at me. they wait for me to do something and in return I let my boot graze asphalt, recover traction that doesn't belong to me and -- and run away. run away until all I see is forever and a day. • plans - batman had only gone to the watchtower to fix a broken communicator. unfortunately, flash was spectacularly capable of derailing even the best laid plans. (wally/bruce friendship-centric) [rated: pg]
