Well, I have someone from home that I consider family. I think that's close enough.

Well, me and 'im have been through a lot together.

Ahaha, how nice. I guess you can find love in the most awkward situations. Do you plan to do anything special for her on this day?

[Though she doesn't say it, she kind of thinks he's...dumb for that? They won't remember each other in the end after all.]

Yeah, I'm cooking her dinner and doing the stuff around the house she hates doing.

[well, that wouldn't be far off. He is kinda dumb for this, but you have to take your pleasures here while you can.]

Hahaha. Geez, a woman who hates to do that kind of stuff? She'll have to learn if she wants to be a proper wife and have children in the future.

Really? I have some cookbooks from the library I could loan you, but I don't know if they might read the same for you.

Well, if anything, I can make the 'wife' read 'em out for me. Anything you recommend?

Ah, well what kinds of food does she like. Sweet, spicy- things like that are important to know.

A simple strawberry shortcake might do and it's fairly simple to make. You could get cake mix from the grocery store I'm sure.
