[ ... Ah. How interesting. For a minute or two, she stays silent before laughing ever-so-quietly.

Shall she play around with her for a little while...? ]

How violent.

[First her daughter and now a witch. Why do you keep trolling her?

The voice on the other line...rings of familiarity for sure. But she doesn't budge to it.]

In my defense, he was looking for trouble when he tried to pull me into a kiss.

[ It wouldn't be Umineko without the trolls, you know. ]

Hmhm. I expected that much from one who would marry into the Ushiromiya family, see? ... That Ange resembles you quite greatly.

[Or crazy people.]

You know who I am. [It's not even a question. There's no point in it being one.]

And yet, they would prove to be quite the greedy ones. ... No matter. Such is human nature.

Faulting someone for greed is the same as faulting them for breathing. Sometimes you can't help yourself. In business greed is the most common motivation.

I wouldn't know that from personal experience. My husband handles him with my siblings in law. [Well she actually hasn't seen him for a long while, but this stranger doesn't need to know that.]
