...it's been a while...
I hereby pledge, by the end of this weekend, to put the Wacom down long enough to actually post a decent update. Things have been infinitely busy (what else is new?) but good overall. The only bad part is given what I do and the nature of the day job, I can never post anything regarding that aspect of my life, hence the lack of art posts ; ) ...But things have been coming along in my off hours that postings will be happening on a regular basis.
Had a necessary nice week long 'reset' with a vacation I went on along with my mother and some of her friends. It was a cruise going from Key West to Playa del Carmen and back to Miami, otherwise known as The Week Away From The Computer and it was a pretty cool little break from things. I brought the sketchbook along, but really only got one sketch worth posting of a banyan tree, which will have to wait until tomorrow as my home scanner is fried and I haven't had a chance to install the new one. I was able to take a bunch of photos from our excursion at Xcaret (really want to just go there for a week - the place was amazing), which I guess the best way to describe would be as an ecological/archaeological resort park. Random photos follow : )
