I'm appealing to UP alumni, faculty, and students, especially Sociology majors and graduates from CSSP, to please visit this link and sign the online petition for justice and tenure for Prof. Sarah Raymundo.
She was my former prof, former colleague at the Department of Sociology, and one of the brightest minds the Department has to offer. I did not expect politics in the academe would reach such a level of depravity that such a brilliant, hard-working and well-loved professor and activist would be unceremoniously denied tenure. This has to stop.
