The last three or four days have been really busy/eventful and I've been online almost not at all. I'll try to get everything up to date over the course of several posts.
Well I'm at work right now, waiting for everything to be ready for my super crazy testing stint. [Work Rant] These cases were assigned last Wednesday or so, but the network won't be configured properly until today. And they're due by tomorrow's end. It's so retarded - I exhibit a capacity for learning, so Kevin assigns the list to me because he doesn't know how I set my right profile - and everyone's leaving, taking FDOs, and Eric's the only person I can depend on for setting up what I need that I've never seen before. It's absolutely retarded - the people in charge have no idea how to actually do the work. And in two days I have to run through a gauntlet of tests that cover everything: single sign-on, VLAN switching, NAC posturing, FAST PAC provisioning, uni/multicast traffic verification, all while fucking roaming wirelessly. I swear they're just all going to fail. No way can I get that entire monster of a configuration done in time to work. Especially when Eric's not troubleshooting these stupid server-switch failed authentication messages. ;_;'' Please don't ever do network administration. My hell is going to be an empty certificate store in Active Directory that just can never import fucking anything. [/Work Rant]
And my left over-the-ear earphone isn't sitting as snugly as I'd like on my deformed lobe. Sometimes I forget the discomfort, but then I become aware of it again and it pisses the hell out of me. I'm afraid of breaking the piece completely in a frantic adjusting hassle of rage. Stupid mutant ear. >_<
Although the earphone does emit something more positive: I got a baby blue Creative Zen Vision: M last week and it's wonderful. Loading Din onto it (Din's my music folder on Wing Zero [Wing Zero is my laptop's computer name]) took something like half of Saturday (straight), and I've only got ~7.5 GB of space left on the 30 GB player. Soon I'll clear my computer of all its music and download a couple dozen more albums. :-D Why do music and pornography take up so much hard drive space?
Where is Eric?? That guy must be so sick of my network admin work without the network admin training.
