[Nezumi actually hadn't been sleeping much at all so that was the only reason why he hadn't felt the touches on his neck. Plus, unfortunately when it came to Sion, he was used to it.

But hearing his name causes him to wake up and immediately push Sion to the bed and his hands around his neck without much thought, purely instinct. It's with crushing force, enough to stop the person from breathing, but as soon as he sees who it is, he let's go of his neck.]

What the hell are you doing here? [HE LEFT THIS IDIOT.]

[The sudden movement makes him gasp but the air is just as quickly knocked out of him and stopped. Even though it only lasts a moment before the pressure is released from his neck, he takes a deep breath, a small cough following. Jeez Nezumi take it easy! Well Sion should know better than to do that BUT STILL.

...But if Nezumi has enough strength to do that so quickly then that means--]

You're okay! Thank goodness... [Not going to even acknowledge the question since, he totally lives with you, why wouldn't he be there]

[Something is off here. He immediately notices this and moves off of Sion completely. But he's still being cold about this.]

What did I tell you about worrying about--[He sighs and then rubs his face when he realizes he did it. Curse this idiot.] How did you get into my room? [He has a dresser barring the door. No seriously.

He really does.]

What do you mean? I live in your room.

[And Sion's just going to sit up, legs dangling off the side of the bed, hope you don't mind if he just makes himself comfortable here. He gives him a frown] You should lay back down. After collapsing like that, you need to rest. I'll make you some soup.

[He gives him a suspicious glare. This could be a trick. This is all about experiments, right? Maybe this isn't Sion, though he seems to be as idiotic as the real Sion. He's not pulling anything past the Malnosso though, from what he's read.

But he had left him. He had promised to come back and he did plan to, once he got his own problems settled, but not this soon. He really had been trying hard not to think about Sion, but wouldn't Sion be just like that? Coming right when he didn't need him to.]

No, you're staying here and answering me some questions. What's the last thing you remember?

[He blinks. Did he really pass out too or something?] Why?

[He scowls. Oh, Sion and his delightful habit of asking irritating questions.] Because I asked. Now what's the last thing you remember?

[SIGH. Fine]

You collapsed. [His gaze moves to the floor when his frown returns, running his fingers through his hair. It's not something he wants to remember or really talk about since the thought of it makes him cringe.] We were talking about the wasps when you just suddenly fainted. I was so worried... [Now he looks back up at Nezumi]

Don't you remember?

[Oh crap. He'd already met someone from two hundred years ago and so this...]

I remember. [He runs a hand through his hair and wonders how to handle this. Honestly he isn't ready to see Sion. He had left for a reason and that was because Sion was just too many things Nezumi knew he wasn't ready for. But it was Sion. He couldn't kick him out even though he knew that'd be best for his own survival.

He was still weak when it came to Sion. He really almost wants to punch him for it, but instead he turns.] Listen, we've been kidnapped. Some freaks are basically keeping us here in this place called Luceti. We're not even near the Western District. Nobody even knows about that place here.

[Should he tell him about the different times? About Safu? About how he kills a man? He'd forget all about it if they returned, but--

No, he can't tell.]

Let's just say I'm from a different time. I'm fine. But you've got some reading to do. [And he's getting the guide for him.]

[Kidnapped? Luceti? He's from a different time? It's all too much to think about, all too much he has to think about. But...

Without even really thinking, he stands up abruptly and turns to face Nezumi] Then what time are you from? [Does he know what happened to Safu? Did they get to her? Did they save No.6? Did he get to go home and see his mother again? He wants to know all of the answers. No matter what his future is he needs to know]

[He looks at him, thinking about the promise they'd made. They wouldn't hide things from each other.

He really wanted to wish he didn't care about Sion hurting.]

Long after that.

When? What all happened?? Tell me.

[A step forward. He isn't going to take 'stuff' as an answer either so don't try to sneak around this. He wants Nezumi to spill it. All of it, no matter what it is]

[He makes himself comfortable on the bed.] A lot. We infiltrated and that went fine all in all. You got shot, I got shot and almost died. Apparently it became a habit of yours to treat me for gunshot wounds. We'll try to stay away from that here, all right?

[He goes quiet for a second and yes, he purposely kept out the part about him killing a man and how Nezumi took a bullet for Sion. Let's not get into sentiments here and reading in between lines.]

You sure you want the full story? Can you really live with everything I tell you? Knowing what you go back to?

[He knows he can, now he does, but he wants to hear it.]

[All he can do is nod at that. Deep down, he starts to feel angry at himself. Why would he let Nezumi almost die?! How could he let someone get away with doing such a thing?! Well, now that he knows, he can change that. He can protect Nezumi, he can teach whoever wanted to kill him a lesson they'll never forget.

That aside for now...

He exhales, not even noticing he was holding his breath for a minute or two there. He was tense to, but now relaxed. He's ready for this, so with another firm nod, he speaks steadily] Yes.

Get yourself comfortable. I don't need you falling to your knees, crying or something. [Trying to give him a bit of sarcasm to hide that talking about this is something he wants to avoid.]

You assumed Safu would be at the top of the Correctional Facility and you were right. She was and she asked us to destroy Mother. We did it and we escaped safely. Safu...didn't. [He could continue on, but he knows hearing news like that isn't easy. Sion is tougher than he ever gave him credit for, but he knows how badly he handled this when it happened. And that Sion had gone through more than this one.] There wasn't anything either of us could have done. [He doesn't apologize, he doesn't offer condolences. He only looks at him, waiting.]

[Completely ignoring the first part, he stays standing and listens more intently than ever when Nezumi speaks. The words practically rip his heart in two.

He can't...

He can't possibly mean that...

Safu...

dies... Could he?

And what the hell does he mean there was nothing they could've done?! THERE MUST'VE BEEN SOMETHING. ANYTHING. How could they have just let her die in that place?! His whole body slowly begins to tremble, hands curling into fists and his dull nails start to dig into his own skin but he ignores the pain and just stares at Nezumi in shock] ... You're lying. [He can't accept the fact that Safu... That she... ]
