A while back, I remember looking up stuff about Orion for Gaila research or something, and I saw a couple fuzzy screencaps of what the seldom-seen males of the species look like.
A lot like *Karl's* Cupid costume, it turns out. So basically for a couple years, I've had the idea that *Karl* and Rachel should swap roles in a genderbent version of nuTrek. And jjverse finally reopened, and there was a re-cast challenge! \o/
I actually found Spock to be the most difficult to cast, because I wanted to make sure it was an actress who could still be coded as Jewish.
