If I know my Jossverse writers (and I think I do), that is going to be a HUGE deal at some point in the future.
So much GOOD STUFF in this episode! Most of the juicy stuff was what went unsaid, too. Which, how good is the writing for a tv show like that?! You give the actors enough rope to hang themselves, and pray that they don't. And OF COURSE THEY DON'T. Monroe crossing that line of helping a Grimm, to essentially doing a Grimm's job. Nick beginning to comprehend Marie's instructions to let Juliette go.
And Renard. OH, Renard! First of all, completely shallowly, that mid-length coat he was wearing? With the BAMF strut? UNF. Second of all, that wasn't a bad guy play-acting and pretending to be concerned about his men. I mean, I have no doubt that Renard would take out Hank if it suited his purposes, but, like, in this proprietary way. Hank is his. And no one is to be messing with what's his.
I loved seeing more of Wu & Juliette in action! Especially Juliette... she runs when Nick tells her... TO GRAB WEAPONS! God, just tell her, Nick, this is so stupid! We already knew Wu was terribly efficient, and this episode just hit my competence kink like whoa.
The only part of the episode I'm even a little bit 'meh' about is the Hank bit. The storytelling there just wasn't as subtle or elegant. And I'm always disappointed when one of my hero characters does a stupid thing on one of my shows. XD
And, while we're talking about Grimm:
