3 Things from the NBC TCA
Jeez, I am posting a lot!
1 - Trauma, that medical drama that I was going to watch on basis of Cliff Curtis awesomeness alone (I already have an icon, even) is going to have an openly gay character. Please be a good show.
2 - White Collar, the Tim DeKay-Matthew Bomer series, as I previously predicted, is going to have slash. Even if I have to write it myself. Okay, it's pretty unlikely that that's gonna happen. But I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of other people writing it.
Official press release: "The story unfolds after charming criminal mastermind Neal Caffrey (Bomer) is caught by his nemesis, G-Man extraordinaire Peter Burke (DeKay). After escaping from a maximum-security prison to find his long-lost love, Neal is nabbed by Peter once again. Rather than returning to jail for this daring getaway, Neal suggests an alternate plan - providing his expertise to assist the Feds in putting away infamous and elusive criminals in return for his freedom."
Mini Bomer interview: "He doesn't have a lot of impulse control. He's always testing boundaries."
I think I said this before, but it looks like this character, Neil Caffrey, will be a version of Bryce Larkin that I actually like. Because he won't be a jerk pretending to be a good guy. The bummer is that Tiffani Thiessen is playing the lead female (Burke's wife), and instead of getting to do the cool crime-solving stuff with the boys, she is an event planner. :/ Haven't they learned anything from the success of Psych & Burn Notice, where girls have guns, too?
Little snippet with a few quotes: '“It really is a show about two guys and their interaction,” says [executive producer] Easton. “It’s not just another cop show; we really get to delve into things you wouldn’t get to otherwise.”'
