Great Weekend, Gothic Beauty Pageant at Numbers and then Havok

Feb 19, 2006 20:33

First there was the rehersal dinner Friday night, for Brent and Cherie's wedding. It was at Johnny Corino's. And Italian place. We've never been there but have heard a lot about it. It was really cool. We got there a few minutes after it had started. We only knew a few people that were there. They seemed surprised to see me dressed in a tie and shirt formal get up with dress pants. Everyone is used to seeing me dressed in jeans, t-shirt, and baseball cap. Anyway, we were introduced to the family of the soon to be wedded. Very nice people. We drank wine and had some very good food. The desert was amazing. Most of the party ordered cheescake, Alice and I ordered the Tiramisu (Sp?). Now think about this. The greatest desert ever created by man. If you order this at say Olive Garden, you get a small slice of about, I think, 10 oz. When they brought out our Tiramisu, I couldn't help my surprise at how huge the serving was. It had to be twice the size of what I've been served anywhere else. I also can't believe I ate all of it. It was very light though. I had a decent buzz from the wine and enjoyed myself thuroughly. We tried to get Brent to go out with us to do something but without useing force he was unwilling. So we went home and made plans to kidnap Keith the following day after the wedding.

Long Post

Saturday, we rushed to get ourselves together and ready to leave for Brent and Cherie's wedding. Once again I donned my formal dress clothes. Different colors of course and a jacket. We got to the church right on time. Very nice church, with massive stained glass windows. It was a sweet ceremony though it seemed very quick. The bride's maids had these beautiful Renaissance style dresses, that were dark green, cream and gold. Then we had the reception, where we met more interesting people and continued association with others from the night before. There's a lot of details. It was very cool. I think the last time I was at a wedding and reception was for my mother's second marriage. Years ago. So there was lots of food, and people mingling, and pictures being taken. We have a few great photos. Strangley people began to leave early before the Bride and Groom were ready to leave themselves. Weird. So we had bubbles to blow instead of rice to through, or the chocolate candy on the tables. Keith and I went outside and I helped decorate the gettaway vehicle. After the two Newlyweds left in a hail bubbles the rest of the party began getting everything packed up and put away. Alice and I were given like a 4th of the cake and a bunch of other food to take home. We made sure that Keith would meet up with us later to go out to Numbers for the Pageant.

Went home and we napped for a while. Then got up at about 6 and got dressed to go to the Gothic Beauty Pageant at Numbers. Keith showed up 10 minutes early. I was ready to go and Alice just needed to finish her make-up. We took off at about 8 or so. Got to Numbers and couldn't find a parking place. Drove around the block like six times until Keith (the engineer) offered to paralell park the car for Alice. It was pretty cold last night. There was a line outside of Numbers. They had just opened the doors to let people in. Scott was already there waiting for us, table and all near the door. We introed Keith to everyone. And I started pointing out the reasons for why "he wanted" to come with us. Saw lots of people we knew. Talked to some we hadn't seen in a while. Trey the Photographer was there doing his thing upstairs. We saw one of Alice's Renny friends Kitty Kat and she was excited to see us and Alice's big tummy (explanation for another time). We talked to Trey about his friends who had been a terrible car accident. So strange how only a few months before we saw them all out together. We ventured around and talked to few other people and then fianly settled in to wait for the show. Alice had considered being in the Pageant againthis year but couldn't motivate herself to find a reason or the time to do it. I'm kinda glad though. Too much more crap we would have had to deal with. Once the show started I went up and was taking pictures. Our friends Elizabeth and Damein were going to be in it so I wanted to be sure and get a few pics of them. Keith was certainly enjoying himself. The intermission show was put on by some of our friends in the Dominion group. It bascily a fetish show. Though not really very good I did take some photos of that too. Some of looked cool but it was a little boring.

Then the most interesting thing happened while I stood there watching. I became aware of a steady, loud mouthed "Mmooooing". I thought to myself, no it couldn't be. I slowly turned so as not to look obvious and saw to my lack of surprise, Elsie the Cow and the stick figure she carries around with her. I went back to what I was doing because, they and mostly she, were completely unaware that I was within arms reach of them. I had to laugh. It was uncontrolable. So after taking a few more pics I went back to our table and told Alice who I had found. She demanded that I take her to see. So I did. We stood for a good ten minutes just watching and giggling to ourselves and telling anyone we knew that passed by, "There's the Cow. Remember she's the one who empty threats to kill our child on numerous occasions." It was great fun. We even mooooed at them later when they passed our table oblivious to their surroundings. So we had missed the end of Dominion's show, and then we watched the rest of the Pageant and took more pictures. We then went looking for Carmina to get the copies of the first 6 Pageants on DVD. Alice has been in four of them. Then we decided to go and meet up with Scott and Elizabeth at Havok.

Got to Havok pretty quickly and saw the Pedophile Hawz just as we were walking in. That really irritated me. I hated it that we had just got there and there he was in my reach and people standing all around to prevent me from throttling him. We and found our group that we had come to meet up with. Scott right behind us. Keith was really into the sights. I keep talking about Keith. He's a good friend that we met through our association with Brent. He was Brent best man by the way. They both also work at NASA. Keith is an engineer, and he doesn't get out to things like what we enjoy. He's just not the type to do that sort of thing. But he's really cool and we like hanging out with him when we have a chance. It was our goal to take him out if we had to drag him and make sure he had a good time. My primary tools of motivation were, "There will hot goth chicks, scantily clad and dancing with each other." That worked very well. He even got out on the dance floor and danced for a few songs. I had told him several times, that he couldn't be too terrible at it, there were plenty out there that just looked freakish enough. Including myself. I took a few pics of him to use for later. We saw a couple more people out that we hadn't seen in quite some time. Very surprised at that. I did dance some though I wasn't too much into it after the first one. I saw that it hadn't been too long after we left Numbers that Elsie the Cow and the Stick showed up too. They stayed up on the balcony floor where we didn't have to look at them. And even more to my surprise they never noticed us. We did have the chance to throw some insults at the Pedophile as he walked by and to our absolute glee he recognized his new title and looked back at us. Great fun I tell you. Oh the wonderfuly violent thoughts that passed through my mind. If only I could get the chance to act on them. I really can't afford to go to jail right now, but if the opportunity was right I think it would be well worth it. Anyway, so saddly the night ended without any body bags or police handcuffs or even ambulance sirens and EMTs to the rescue of coma patients.

It was about 5am by the time we gt home and to bed. We offered our very comfy sofa to Keith who gladly accepted. We slept till about 10am, got up and started talking about what to eat. Alice went out to get donuts. That was good. Not much else but watching the past Pageant DVDs and then Keith leaving and us just kicking back to relax.

And on a side note that may not be very coherent to some, MMMOOOOO!!! Bluster, and bile, loud mouth croaking little child. All useless noise and no ASS to back it up. Nothing to anyone, live in your own world. Somebody needs to make sure she is taking her anti-psychotic meds. Not the white pills, they're the little blue ones. Those calm the voices in your head that tell you to say all those stupid things. What a sad empty headed little loser. Did I mention blind to boot? Anyway...

Good Night to the rest of you....
