Daily Dad Stuff
Alice bought me a small calendar for my desk at work that has all these quotes and stuff for Dads for each day of the year.
This one is for the 15th of February:
Dr. Kyle Pruett, child development expert, says it’s a good thing
that fathers don’t “mother” the kids. “Fathers bring a different
perspective of the world,” he explained. “They tend to discipline
a little differently. They tend to play a little more, they roughhouse,
they tease, and they help children deal with their
frustrations.”
This is sooooo true. I can remember the same thing with my father,
and I find myself being the same way with my daughter, Athena.
