Yeah, so I had probation today. It went pretty well. My officer and I discussed my fine status and I also got paperwork to take to the NJ Dept. Of Labor office. They specialize in helping probationers find employment, apparently. Hey, my tax dollars pay for it anyway. Or at least they did over the summer and last semester. Yeah, I paid NJ wage taxes when I worked on the Vineyard. Kinda insane in a logical way. Oh, yeah I have excellent news! Apparently my conviction won't bar me from professional careers. So I haven't totally fucked up my life. That feels pretty fucking exhilarating! Yeah, so anyway. Well, we'll see if I get to medical school. At least I know it's an option still.
