If I could sneeze on something with pinpoint accuracy I could be the world's grossest superhero. Yes indeedy. My mucous is as sticky and webby as Spiderman's webs. Eeeeew. Bet you're glad I've shared that!

Four people all sized me up after lunch and declared: "You look like you're wearing halloween make-up", "Oh, my goodness girl! Go home!", "Why did you even bother to come back after lunch?!" I don't know why I bothered. Maybe had something to do with being stubborn. As in, "Damn germs, you're not gonna get me!" Who am I trying to kid?

Witnessed a pretty bad car accident on the way home. A guy in a truck ran a red light doing between 70-80 km/hr. Broadsided the car ahead of us taking the left turn through the intersection. When the car finally stopped moving it was on the meridian pointing in the opposite direction and the side was totally crumpled. We ran over to offer assistance to the man in the car & the eldery couple in the other car that got clipped. The elderly man has a heart condition & you could tell he'd gotten quite a scare. I nearly had a panic attack looking at his white/blue clammy skin.

Everyone was pretty much ok. Shaken up and whiplashed pretty much, but who's to say about other soft tissue damages, etc.? I felt so angry at the pick-up truck driver. He got out to offer help & called an ambulance on his mobile. He did what he could do I guess, except be a responsible driver. This is the same intersection I've been freaking out about since I've avoided accidents there almost everytime I've gone through on the turn. There's not enough delay between the straight moving red and the left turning green. People see the amber, speed up and motor through on their red while people who've got the green are already in the intersection.

The thing that made me really really sick (besides the smell of gas everywhere) was that in the backseat of the crumpled car were two rear facing baby seats. I'm glad the man didn't have his children with them. So very very glad. I don't know what I'd have done if there had been hurt crying babies. The cops would probably have had to pry me off the pick-up truck driver.
