Sick (again)

Feb 24, 2010 11:45

Today I once again am an incubator for some homless infection that somebody else put on the streets. I have an enlarged spleen, so my doctor thinks it's viral. I got blood drawn to see if it was mono. But wait, there's more! I also have a bacterial sinus infection. I am very prone to those.

I wonder why I never have only one illness at once. They always come in pairs with me. For example, I once got five infections all at the same time (eye, foot, lung, sinus, skin), but I can count on one hand the number of times I've had a sole bug.

Ultimatly, I find this amusing. My friend tells me I need my own protective bubble. I concur with her wholeheartedly. I mean, who else do you know has had Scarlet Fever (twice!), whooping cough, fevers over 104.3, Strep at lease once a year, and all that jazz....
