Wow. Next time, don't hold back. Tell us how you REALLY feel. ;-)

As long as the Dems don't take the occasion of Kennedy's death to rush through ObamaCare, I am going to be okay with the inactivity.

I tend not to pull any punches with fat alcoholics who kill women and get away with hit. I'm wacky that way.

And they'll try...

I'm getting lectured on facebook that he made up for it.

So....you can make up for a homicide by being a bloated, arrogant sack of crap who lives to confiscate the wealth of those who produce? Interesting. I wonder if her family thinks he's made up for it...

I'll have to find you over there and get in the fight...

Well, remember he was a liberal. He could stomp kittens and people will still be going on about him. If he was conservative people would be saying he should rot.

Hey, but at least he got away with it. It leaves plenty of room for me in the future.

I'm afraid not. You'd have to change your last name to something a bit more sacrosanct before you do it. If you had the foresight to be born a Kennedy, you could literally get away with murder...or rape if you're William Kennedy Smith. Honestly, I'm not sure if any other family name would be effective. Try "Obama" and see if that works...

Laura Bush killed a guy. Just sayin'.

Yeah....those are completely equivalent situations. You're really reaching on that one...

Ted Kennedy drove drunk and ended up killing his passenger.
Laura Bush drove drunk and ended up killing her passenger.
Not much of a reach at all, really.
Bonus point: George W. Bush drove drunk and crashed into a hedge. That's why he started a war, he was pissed that he didn't kill anyone.
Now THAT'S a reach.

Ok, you don't think it's much of a reach because you have almost none of the facts correct ( ... )

You know, it IS possible to win an argument without namecalling.

The moral is, if you belong to one of the two most powerful families in politics you can literally get away with murder. The point I'm trying to make is it may not be fair to pin an entire career on a single event.

The namecalling isn't necessary to my argument....it's more recreational.

Oh, and not just murder....you can also get away with rape if you're William Kennedy Smith.

As far as pinning an entire career on a single event, do you feel the same about O.J. Simpson? Phil Spector? Mark David Chapman? Sirhan Sirhan? John Wilkes Booth? Scott Peterson? How about Bernard Madoff?

Sometimes one single event is all it takes....

I've heard the down side to that idea is that it will put a big large exclamation point with underlines on the fact that Kennedy was given the absolute best health care to keep him alive to his dying day. And right now anyone else can avail themselves of the same services if they're willing to make the financial sacrifices.
Under Obamacare, important, connected politicians and elite will be given the absolute best health care but the rest of us, even if we can afford it or are willing to go into hock for it, will be forced to stand in line at the health care version of the DMV to get the cheapest medical attention bureaucrats are willing to pay for.
