Also, I just found out about the muppets community. WOOT!!!!

Early this morning (8:20 EDT), the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) will be live-streaming a flyby as it swings into orbit around the moon. We will be able to watch it approaching the moon as it happens.
As if that isn't cool enough, the it will orbit around and await instructions to plunge into a dark crater on the south ( Read more... )

I didn't even know anyone was having a nano tube contest, but I happened to go to PhysicsSongs.org today so I could check out what was new in physics music. (Yes, I am a geek. 8-) And found out the American Chemical Society sponsored a "NanoTube" contest for which this really cute song won.
