So, most of you are probably aware that a group of activists/dadaists/hackers/vigilantes/pranksters (to quote Radar magazine) from the Interbutts known as
Anonymous has been protesting human rights abuses and all-around bastardry from the Church of Scientology.
Both as a form of identification with the Anonymous concept of an "everyman" movement, and to avoid
harsh retaliation from the Scientologists, many protestors choose to disguise their faces. Because of the analogy with that most recent masked everyman movement in film, V from V for Vendetta, many people choose to wear Guy Fawkes masks. These, naturally, make good photo ops. :)
There have been worldwide protests with thousands of people each month since February. Since there are plenty of opportunities for picture-taking, I was there with my camera.
