(no subject)
So, Christmas day is over for another year. Went pretty well this year - 'without any tears', indeed.
Sat here, 23:46, everyones gone to bed, and I'm not going to be up much longer. Crap telly in the background - braniac - a big book (The IDA pro book), a can of red bull.
Status report: No badness. Positive day.
1) Cluster works, using distcc. No MOSIX, although I've got most of it set up. Might set it up again later, but it's a PITA for now (long story).
2) Gathering info on what settings of -j to use when distcc make'ing a 2.6.27 kernel. Looks like around 5. Tomorrow, I will present graphs.
3) Gotten bugger all done on the final year project. Will do this back in Bradford I think.
4) Mum found a craft shop nearby, and took me to buy beads. I now have some alphabet beads, some plastic butterflies, and 10M of transparent elastic. Unfortunately, I left the remainder of my bead collection back in Bradford, but when I get back, I aim to create 'OMG HAX' bracelets.
5) Oh yeah. While drunk the other day, my brother spilled the Jager, inspiring me to soak it up with bread, throw it in the toaster, apply butter and jam, and to proclaim I had created 'JAGERMEISTIC TOASTS!1!'. Never again.
