hahaha, have you ever tried the candle-and-aerosol thing with a can of WD40? You should. Its ace. I got my first clue from the 'KEEP AWAY FROM SOURCES OF IGNITION. CONTAINS PETROLEUM blahblah' on the label. Definitely no flies now.
Tho I do have a few scorch marks on my walls. damnit.
