Oh, I'm somebody's hubby now. Too bad you and Max couldn't make it. As the days wore on people became themselves, and I'm sure that would have been a terrifying experience. There were a few friends, and a few friends' SOs who were not Rockers, and they looked alternately chastened, horrified and piteous. Surprisingly, with the exception of my self, every single person proved that have matured and stepped back from ruining a perfectly good time by trying to have a better time. One individual who will remain nameless but whose initials are Stevie Rea mistakenly tried to produce drama where no drama was to be had, but there were no biters. I think it was an act of generousity on his part--without someone to pick on, those of us of the Simonian persuasion are quickly rendered silent. I hope he's reading this. We love you Stevie, and as soon as you are getting geniunely offended, tell me to stop and I'll stop after one more untoward comment.
Anyway, you are my thesis inspiration. I'll let you know when I too have 8k words, and I'm sure your LJ readers will be overwhelmed with doubly-vicarious satisfaction.
