stay stay stay
the other weekend jen and i were talking about how close the end of the school year is now. in a few days well be on easter break and then there are only four school weeks after that. of course there are feelings of yay summer, yay vacation time, yay not having to go to school anymore, but on the other hand theres this distinct feeling of "this cant be it! this cant be the end! i havent taught them nearly enough yet!" and its this sense that makes me think im making the right decision to stay in education as a career choice.
i am so nervous to live and go to school in the city, but honestly, i just cant wait to be a student again. going to class and talking to professors and learning and doing research and writing papers. oh my! but it will be better than living in london. one of my biggest problems in london was that i was in such a huge city surrounded by so many people, and yet i still felt so lonely. in philadelphia, ill be near my family and zodda! ill get to see my neices and nephews on a regular basis, and get to see them grow up and stuff junk.
theres a lot of stuff ill miss in new mexico. dust and sunshine and pinon smoke. riding horses and feeding goats. itll be an adjustment, thats for sure.
