Some stuff I picked up from watching
To give but with a balance, not at too much of one's expense. E.g. to provide opportunity to upgrade one's skills rather than to provide $$ directly.
No complaints about one's choice of labor. In deciding what one has thoughtfully chosen to do, complaints should be minimal or non-existent.
It is only human to have desires, but one must exercise control not to be absorbed by excessiveness
Regardless of one's status, it is only good to treat all with equal importance or at least sincerity. Be they your immediate family members, relatives, friends, colleagues, strangers.
The ability to evoke respect but not fear in others even though one might not belong to a high societal status.
