Summary: Zuko explores Wonderland's version of his home.
The Story:
The magical rift thing separated him from his group, and the first thing he notices back "home" is that no one here. There isn't a single soul in sight. Everything is absolutely silent, and he's never, ever, seen his homeland this quiet.
He ends up smack dab in the middle of the royal gardens, much to his dismay. A few turtle-ducks swim in circles aimlessly in the unfrozen pond next to him. Sorry, no winter temperatures here. The hybrid animals eventually notice him and drift closer to the water's edge. He mutters to himself.
"..Something's not right."
This can't be home, right? People are always around back home. This is some..weird, surreal facsimile of home. The portal he came through is right behind him, so any unwary travelers might find themselves stumbling into a pretty palace!
