While the two of them are doing their thing, Puck is watching Santana. He isn't leering, he isn't checking out her boobs or her ass, but he's watching her. Whenever he can, he watches her move, mesmerized by her dancing, and he listens to her singing. Of course, he's watching where his own feet are going, because no way is he going to trip and screw the whole thing up. If he did, he knows Santana would let loose on him, and well, she gets freaking scary when she's like that.

So he concentrates on the choreography and on the singing, while taking a few seconds here and there to just watch her. She sounds hot and looks even hotter.

Maybe it's because she's so good that he's nailing the steps and the lines. Or maybe it's because he practiced a thousand times. But either way, the two of them have this in the bag. By the time they finish the song, Puck is grinning, adrenaline going all over the place. Santana's a smoking hot singing partner, and he's had to work hard to keep up with her.

But it's all worth it, because that was the most fun he's had in awhile. So, Dave and John, eat your heart out, and admit that they just kicked ass.

Santana's practically beaming. The other glee meetings they've had while she's been here, she never gave her best performances. But this one? This one was freakin' amazing, and she can tell Dave is just too hipstery cool to admit it.

She gives Puck a satisfied smirk, fans herself a little.

"Told you," she says to Dave, one shoulder lifting in a shrug. "We're kinda awesome."

"Yeah, I'm thinkin' we need to crank up the AC in here."

He does agree with her, however. It was an amazing performance. If he's not careful, he'll start to really look forward to these glee meetings.

"So, outta curiosity, why Moves Like Jagger?"

"You got that right, man. We just brought the heat."

Puck nudges Santana with his elbow. "Not gonna lie, you're a kickass duet partner." He smirks back at her. "I'm gonna stop by your place later with a little somethin' somethin'."

Then he turns back to look at Dave. "Why not? It's a hot song, and us singing it just made sense, 'cause like she said, we're kinda awesome."

Santana grins, raising an eyebrow. What ever could he mean by that? She certainly has zero ideas, obviously.

"Seriously. I dunno about Puck over here, but I'm pretty sure I was born to sing that part."

It's really too bad the two of them have no self-confidence, right?
