Summary: Dave has a bad dream, but he doesn't want to bother Bro 'cause of how late it is. Also, stairs and tripping and John is closer.
The Story: Dave can't remember the dream he had. All he does remember is sitting bolt upright and the feeling of terror. The child shivers and shakes, clutching his knees to his chest for a few minutes. He sniffles as he climbs out of bed, hesitating before reaching into the closet to pull out a companion.
Gingerly, he opens the door, looking around to see if there's anyone in the hallway. Upon seeing no sign of anyone, the blond walks over to John's door, and knocks on it a few times, a light, embarrassed blush on his cheeks. He hopes John will let him stay for the night.
