Souji's been preparing. His paperwork probably isn't as thorough as Minato's, but he's got a lot of that information stored in his mind, so he's not too worried about it. What he did make sure to have were the stats for each of the Personas he'll be using and he modified some plushies to try to make them look more like the real thing. Unfortunately, this isn't one of his strongest areas, so Sraosha came out looking more like Cthulhu and he had to settle for an Ishtar that's really just a goat with blond hair. Izanagi-no-Okami came out fine, though, since Souji spent a lot of time trying to get him right.

When he hears the knock, he gathers his things into a neater pile on his desk and goes to answer, smiling slightly at Minato as he lets him in.

"Hi, Souji."

Minato stepped into the room and set down his bag on the floor. Minato's paperwork and notes might've been more detailed, but the plushies he used were just out of the closet and he hadn't bothered to modify them, only going based off the general color scheme. Orpheus Telos was a red panda plushie that had a tiny, toy lyre tied around his back. Thanatos, warrior god of Death, somehow ended up as a cute, black rabbit plushie, and Messiah was represented as a white harp seal plushie.

"Are you ready for this?"

Souji nods. "Let's sit at the table." Not many epic Persona battles are fought across a table, but that way they'd have room for all of their things. Souji gets his things from the desk and moves them over, sitting on the floor.

He eyes the seal plush and then Minato. Clever.

Minato nodded and sat down at the table across from Souji, pulling his bag closer to him. He placed the notebook and calculator with a pen to one side and set his seal plushie on the table since that was his current equipped Persona. He smiled a little, knowing he chose that plush for a reason, and Souji knew too.

"... You've seen him. He has a white color scheme."

Then Minato remembered that Souji had yet to see his other Personas. That was something he would have to do eventually. But for now, the plushies would have to do.

"If we're starting, then whoever has the faster Agility stat goes first?"

Souji imitates him and sets Sraosha on the table. Though she's not his strongest Persona, she's tactically the best to keep equipped as a default.

"Her agility is 62." He doesn't have to look at the stat sheet to know this. He's memorized the information.

Minato nodded, smiling a little more as he looked both their makeshift Personas.

"His is at 62 too."

Although it might've been higher now given that Minato had leveled his Personas up.

"Is that her base level stat?"

Souji nods. "I didn't want to calculate what it would be at her level, so I left those stats at their base level. Her level is 81 though."

"His is 90, but you can switch your current equipped Persona if you'd like."

To make it fairer, perhaps. Though Minato did think it was interesting that their Personas' base levels were different, and yet their Agility stats were the same.

Souji considers, then nods and replaces Sraosha on the table with Izanagi-no-Okami. "His level is 99, all his stats are at 80. So I move first."

Minato blinked once and then had to smile. He knew a few of the skills this Persona had even without someone around to help him analyze his opponent. "I never did ask you what Arcana he was."

"World." Souji smiles a little, fingering one of the ribbons trailing from the plush's head. "My only World Persona."

Minato was surprised to hear that, but not entirely, more like pleasantly so. Nothing really could have prepared him for Souji's answer, not even with all the knowledge he had about Personas or what he had been told and taught in the Velvet Room.

"... It's the only World Persona that I know of."

"Izanagi appeared to defeat Izanami. He chose the world over his consort, whom he loved."

Souji drops his hand to the table top with a soft thunk.

"Ready to start?"

Souji did wield the power of a god, after all. It was only fitting that it was of the World Arcana. And of course, it made it all the more interesting to fight him.

Minato nodded. He was ready for this, and would always be ready, seal plushie and all.

"Go ahead." Bring it, bro.

Souji smiles slightly. He figures Messiah must have resistances on part with Izanagi-no-Okami's, as Minato's ultimate Persona, so he goes with a non-elemental magic attack.

"Megidolaon."

That was a good tactical move since Almighty attacks slipped past any of his Persona's defenses. Minato had to have his Persona take on the attack without dodging, and wrote down the damage taken given the level of Souji's Persona and the spell itself, then figured in the HP recovery from Regenerate 3.

Minato moved the seal plushie closer toward Souji. "Morning Star. Magic Skill Up gives it 50% more attack power."
