The Story:
On the first day of the event, characters will wake up to find themselves all sleeping together in one large, open, underground room. Think of a space about the size of a high school gymnasium. Characters each have a futon and blanket, and maybe a few personal items, but nothing else. In one corner, there is an area for food storage and preparation, though all of the food is of the non-perishable variety. There is potable water and plumbing, with communal showers and bathroom stalls in a room off to one side. All exits leading out of the area are sealed, and no amount of physical force, magic, or other supernatural power will open them.
