America, thankful that Caroline has returned, is now carrying her in his pocket with him wherever he goes. And now, he's going to the kitchen, to celebrate with another burger. Maybe two.

He walks in, and doesn't pay attention to Poniko, though he does grin and wave at her. Heroes are polite when they want to be, after all! And he starts gathering supplies to make burgers. First let's see what's in the fridge.

Poniko nods slightly to acknowledge America--no need to be rude, since he hasn't opened his mouth yet--and goes back to precisely measuring teaspoonfuls of oil. As long as he doesn't disrupt her, she doesn't see why there's any need to bother with him.

Of course, unfortunately, America is obnoxious. This is why he's lovable, though.

He takes things out and opens things and leaves them there. Yes, he makes a mess when he cooks. Wrappers for burger meat and everything all over the counter, and whatever else in his wake. Did he even wash his hands before he started? Who knows.

America is also humming to himself, it's audible but it's hard to place the sound.

Poniko tries to ignore him, but she twitches every time he fails to clean up after himself. And then she notices the humming. It's so distracting to her, somehow, that she actually mis-measures something.

It is the last straw. She turns to him to ask him to please shut up now, but freezes when she notices Caroline in his pocket.

Okay, so really, this is the last straw.

"What is that?! Get it out of the kitchen!"
