The Log: (
In the midst of the chaos and drama everyone was causing, Saffron had decided that this would be a good time to do some research. Since the little handheld computers worked nothing like the cortex she was used to and, more often than not, turned up far too many results, she had determined that the library would be the best place to start. She only hoped she wouldn't be just as overwhelmed.
It was not to be. When she entered the library and began looking around, it was clear that this place wasn't organized in any way that made sense to her. All she wanted was to find a bit of history, geography, something. There was nothing. She wandered up and down the stacks, taking out books at random when they looked promising and then shoving them back on the shelves. Saffron found the entire series of Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying guides, but none of them told her a single thing about the world she was in. When she found a copy of War and Peace, she figured such a huge book would have to be a history of some sort. She scanned a few pages, and then with a huff of disgust shoved it back into place.
After nearly thirty minutes of trailing through the shelves, stopping periodically to cross her arms under her chest and huff, she was no closer to any answers and had lost track of where the exit was. Peering around, Saffron thought she saw another young woman buried in a stack of books. Well, she probably at least knows how to get out... Saff headed her way, determined to get at least one straight answer today. )
