And then he'd woken up in a place entirely different.
A quick check of the network showed that Arland, someone Lithuania at least knew a little bit, seemed familiar with what was happening and was heading outside. It didn't take long for Lithuania to decide to follow him, and when he moved towards the beach, the wind tossing his hair every which way, he had to stop a moment just where the grass turned into sand and close his eyes, sighing, taking in a breath of the air, smelling the ocean. He didn't get to do something like this very often. It was so nice...
Suddenly, though, Arland's voice rang through the air, and Lithuania's eyes went open, surprised, stepping closer towards the figure on the beach, following with his gaze the direction the man was pointing in.
It was an island.
Surprised, Lithuanian rushed closer, until he was close enough to talk to Arland himself.
"Is it really new?" he asked. "You've never seen that before?"

The island beckoned. The water was probably still pretty cold, and if you went out too far, he knew from experience, something would drag you down into black and the dark would force you out cold until you woke and found yourself bobbing inexplicably in the mansion's swimming pool.
But with a new patch of green out there, it was stupider to not try.
"Hey..." He looked to Lithuania. "Hand me that rope over there...we're gonna make a raft to float over."

"Okay!" Lithuania didn't have the first idea how to make a raft, but he trusted Arland would know. He was resourceful, after all. He'd found Liet's flag amidst all the chaos of the butterfly event and everything. He probably knew a ton of useful stuff.
Turning towards the direction Arland had gestured, Lithuania grabbed up the long piece of rope, bringing it over to the other boy. "Have you ever made a raft before?" he asked, curiously.

So he tossed his head confidently, braggish, and beamed up at Lithuania, taking the rope length and tying off the first knot.
"Oh, dozens of times." He lied with confidence.
