Tino had caught wind of a Karaoke party in the dining room and decided to check it out. He wasn't really big on karaoke, seeing as he was terrified of making a complete fool of himself. Sure Tish, Carver, Lor and himself had done it a few times together... but they were best friends and activities such as karaoke were never embarrassing when you were with your best friends. Tino wasn't completely sure if he wanted to sing tonight. He didn't know any of these people well, actually he didn't really even know any of these people.

Needless to say, he was a little scared and walked into the hall with an air of hesitation.

“Tino!” Linda shouted from across the room, “Hey! Tino!” Reaching the boy, she half tackled half-hugged the boy, and smile bright on her face.

“I’m like, so totally glad that you could come!” Glancing around, she then asked, “Hey, where’s like your bear? I totally wanted to like, meet him!”

"Linda?!" Tino was a bit surprised when Linda threw herself at him. He wasn't used to girls hugging him. He'd given Lor and Tish a few, but they were so much like sisters he never really thought about it. He hugged her back and smiled, "Thanks for putting on this party! The decorations are um... really cool?"

Tino smiled, he had thought of bringing Pizza but sometimes it was easier to go places without him. Pizza liked to adventure places and it was kind of a mess to go look for him. He also liked to bite on the edges of his pants, and seeing as he was getting pretty strong Tino wasn't sure if he wanted to experiment with that in public. "I decided to let him stay at home so that he could sleep or something, he's quite the handful."

"TINOOOOOOOOO!"

And suddenly, a huge green dog bounded across the room to meet up with his friend. Morphing back just before colliding into the smaller boy, he bent down and smiled at his friend. (He was actually quite pleased to be taller than someone for once).

"I didn't know you could sing!"

"WHAT?!"

Tino was really freaking surprised by Beast Boy's abrupt greeting. He actually jumped back a foot or two in shock. He definitely didn't expect to see the large green dog bolting towards him.

"Oh... um," Tino really didn't sing. He sang to the radio, maybe in the shower a couple of times. It wasn't something he liked to throw out into the open. He was a naturally paranoid child and paranoia and self consciousness come hand in hand. "I'm afraid I really don't sing, but who am I to not come to a a cool party thrown by Linda?"

Beast Boy smiled at the little kid. It was always funny to watch peoples' reactions to his morphing the first time around.

"You got a point there, dude. Who misses the opportunity for a party, eh? Still. You gotta at least try to sing, man!"

"Oh yes, because I'm just the most wonderful singer in the world."

Tino surprised himself, he hadn't said a sarcastic remark since he'd arrived at the mansion, a sure-fire record for his normal self. He couldn't help but smile at the small return to normalcy.

"Er, I don't know If that's a good idea, Beast Boy. I don't really know anyone and uh-"

"Oh c'mooooooon, you can sing something! Doesn't matter what your voice sounds like!" He smile reassuringly at the younger boy. "I know you can do it."

Courageousness had never been an attribute Tino associated with himself. He was unsure of whether he wanted to go up on stage and sing, and in Tino's case this uncertainty might as well be considered as a strong desire to stay below the stage.

He had no idea what he'd sing! What if he was terrible and all of these people that he'd never met before didn't want to be friends with him? He'd surely only ever met less than half of the people at the party and he didn't want to make people dislike him. He wasn't so much worried about singing ability as he was worried that everyone would think he was stupid.

"Thanks, Beast Boy. I just... don't want people to think I'm stupid for going up and singing? I don't even know."

Beast Boy smiled reassuringly. "It's alright if you don't want to. But you know, it's always better to try and fail than to not try at all.

Besides, not like anyone here's gonna judge you just because of your singing. Seriously, bad singing in this crazy place isn't gonna condemn you."

Yet another guest. Kite didn't recognise this one at first, but he had his signature registered in his database. No name yet, unfortunately, but at least he knew the guy kind of.

"Ahh, welcome," the AI greeted, waving a little. "Nnn, Kite, I think we have met before?" It was probably over the network, so maybe he wouldn't recognise him.

"Um, hi!"

This blue-haired guy definitely looked familiar. Tino couldn't remember who he might be, his memory wasn't the best and there was easily over a hundred people in the mansion. However, Tino wasn't sure why he couldn't place this guy's face. Most everyone in the mansion had very distinct features, and this guy was no exception to that rule.

"You look really, really familiar but I can't remember a thing, I'm sorry!"

Oh. Well, uh, this was kinda awkward. Might as well keep trying anyway, though, maybe he could at least get a name.

"Ahh... think it was during Christmas," he offered. "You were the boy with the bear? Ahh, was hiding behind the tree." He chuckled a little. What an interesting way to introduce yourself. "And during fairy event... Think we spoke."

Taking a moment to think, Tino reflected on Christmas and that small period of time where he was a foul, little, pink fairy thing. Tino shuddered at the thought of that day. He had fallen in the toilet along with so many terrible things! Although Tino couldn't remember seeing someone standing behind the tree at Christmas he was fairly certain that this guy was the other fairy thing he talked to.

"OH MAN, I REMEMBER YOU! I'm so glad that you got back to normal sized as well!"
