Where: On and/or around a tree outside.
When: After Kamui catches up on what's happening with his other self.
Rating: PG-13 (Kamui swears...)
Summary: Kamui emos. Ran helps.

After everything going on with the twins. Ran decided to talk to the other Kamui. She looked for him in the mansion, but no one seemed to know where he was. "Great, I guess this Kamui can be just as emo as the other." The complaint was mumbled under her breath. She fetched a furry coat from her room and started to look outside.

"FRICKEN COLD" Was the general complaint as she walked along in the snow. It was worse then Shibya's cold, that was for sure. It took her a while to wonder near his tear. By then she was sneezing.

"Kamui that better *achoo* be you up there." She complained up at the mass in the branches.

"R-Ran?" Kamui looked downward, noticing his friend and that her nose was slightly red. "You..." Worrying over her now, he jumped down, the whole twenty feet seemingly nothing as he landed softly and easily. "Why are you out here?"

"And that coat isn't heavy enough. Here, " without hesitation, he wrapped his comforter around her, not caring that it meant he'd get cold now. He'd caused her trouble too, apparently. Giving her his warm comforter was the least he could do.

She had to clap at that landing. "Nice. I could jump that but not that gracefully. *achoo*" She shivered a little.

she snuggled into the comforter when he wrapped it around her. She looked like a little bear all wrapped up like she was. "So what brings you out here?"

Kamui smiled a little despite himself at the clapping, cheeks pink but that easily could have been because of the cold.

"I... I wanted some time away. I need to decide if I should stay away from people here or not." Which he obviously wasn't doing a good job of, considering here he was, talking to Ran. Truth was, he needed people; he was naturally clingy and dependent. Not that he'd ever admit that.

She looked sad, nervous, oddly vulnerable. It made him feel bad, especially since his big mouth had caused this. "I..."

He took in a gulp of air, deciding to make a jump for it. "I agreed to be Subaru's "E". His brother... doesn't seem to wholly like the idea, but it makes Subaru happy, so I don't really want to stop. If you can be okay with the idea of Subaru taking my blood, maybe even kissing me sometimes, then..." He was blushing so incredibly hard now, "And I do mean just kissing... um." Eh, screw it. "If you could put up with that, and everything else I've already told you... then, yeah, we can go out." He glanced at her nervously, wondering what reaction he would get.

Ran looked at him and blinked. "What?" Tilting her head.

Part of him wanted to throw his hands up in frustration and walk off, but the other kept him rooted strictly in place. In embarrassment.

"Ran..." He fell forward, face burying in her bed to hide the red. "W-What part are you asking about? Please don't make me say... all that stuff again." At this rate, all the blood rushing to his face would make him get a fever.

Ran lowered her head. "Get out."
