Sorry to be a pain. My question is not answered. :) Will writers be saying, yes, I want to write prompt X as submitted by so-and-so (in which case prompt X will need to contain the information that constitutes a helpful writing prompt), or are we just chatting and grabbing initial ideas off of each other?
we're going to throw up a prompt list when its time for sign ups taking all the ideas we've thought and collected and post them in a table or the like(as suggested by...). when you make a claim, we'll mark through it so we can get as much diversity as possible.
The thing about AU prompts, at least in my experience, is that if you say "mafia" like someone has one person is going to think "Godfather" and one person is going to think "Sopranos" and they can write whichever/whoever they want. We'd prefer more detailed prompts but we're not rejecting anything at this stage.
*is seeing it now* mob-boss e & sit-there-and-look-pretty vince, maybe (as usual) everyone only puts up with drama cause he's vinnie's bro, and, idk, bookie ari? *is excited*
Mafia AU. Teenage E goes to work for organised crime in Queens rather than taking the Sbarro's career path. Gen or E/Vince.
Mafia AU. The guys are members of a crime organisation. Sloan is an undercover FBI agent sent to infiltrate. Gen, E/Sloan, E/Vince, or some combination.
Mafia AU. Set in the early part of the 20th century. E, made man, follows the mob out to Nevada/California and installs his lover, Vince Chase, in the business of moving pictures. E/Vince.
Mafia AU. E and Vince end up members of rival families. [I can't do everything but I'd do anything for you/I can't do anything except be in love with you --"Romeo and Juliet", Dire Straits] E/Vince.
Mafia AU. A connected E leaves the mob in Queens, moves out to LA, and agrees to be Vince's manager. How does this change the way he deals with Hollywood? Gen or any pairing.
