i tried to keep up with it this year. i really did.
what happened?
this is my SECOND entry of 2006. and half the year has gone by.
So here's some updates...
I have left newport creamery and i am now employed as a waitress at Longhorn Steakhouse in warwick. and i LOVE it. i usually make better money, but even if i didnt the job itself would make up for it. i love the atmosphere, the management, and how i only have to do my job. i don't have to hostess, i only have to pre-bus the tables, i dont have to make salads except to put cheese dressing and croutons on them, and I DON'T HAVE TO MAKE ICE CREAM, which is wonderful... however, i do miss some of the npc crew. i like my new coworkers but i miss a few people, especially my love ashley :o) but i try to see them as much as i can.
Things with chris are excellent. In a week we will have been dating for one year and five months, which is quite an accomplishment! I've gotten to see his family a lot so far this summer, and i'm going to his sister's grad party on saturday. i'm excited because i'll get to see all the kelly babies!!! haha, his cousins have kids like its their jobs and there are always new ones around. when i met his family at the kelly christmas party they had a baby in my arms within five minutes of walking in the door... but i dont mind because theyre so cute!!! anyways, in a few weeks his family is going to the cape and i get to visit! now he won't be able to avoid the beach :o)
I have a few new favorite television shows too. Number one is greys anatomy. i got hooked on the night of the superbowl, and i caught up on season one thanks to lauren, who let me borrow her dvds when i got my wisdom teeth out. chris and i have also assimilated lauren's addiction to Lost. we watched the whole first season on dvd, and now we're trying to catch up on the second season but i think we'll have to wait until the dvds come out in september because we didnt catch the repeats on tv. For my summer shows, my sister and i are obsessed with mtv's Parental control and the show So You Think You Can Dance. And my family and i love Hell's Kitchen. So we keep busy with our tv :o)
This summer so far i've mostly worked, caught up with some friends, visited chris, and watched andrea's softball games. I think her seasons over now, but i got to see a lot of games, much more than last year. Tonight im not working, so i think casey and i might catch the guster show at station park.
