Still though - the opportunity has arisen for more exploration now that the halls and decks aren’t quite so ominous, and is still very curious and very much worth said exploration

Walls, ceilings, floors, it's all relevant to where you currently are, I suppose. Right now, I do believe it's the wall, but it's terribly hard to be certain about it when the rooms shifts as such.
