Back from Condo.
Can you believe? I was there for almost a whole day before I heard Shannon Noll mentioned. LOL!
So yes, I was offered the job. I might take it, the place is nice and the people are friendly. Rent is very cheap and food is obtainable. On the other hand, it's very far away from Sydney (8 hours on train!) and thus all my seminars and continuing education lectures. It sounds very desperate, but if there is nothing better than dialup, I'm not going. Even ADSL lags when you're used to cable.
I have another interview to go to next Monday, then I'll decide between the two places.
Travelling 8 hours by train: the seat was nicely padded, but still - it's hard on your bum. Trying to use the toilet while the train rocks side to side is also interesting. Most of my travel was during daylight, but the trip wasn't very scenic. Mostly, I saw dirt, withered vegetation, dirt, ocassional tree, sometimes sheep backsides as they all run away from the scary train.
