NBC Orders J.J. Abrams/Eric Kripke Pilot

TVLine.com is reporting that NBC has ordered an hour-long pilot from J.J. Abrams and “Supernatural” creator Eric Kripke. Called “The Revolution”, the premise of this action-drama is “a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist”.
The pair combine to make a one-two punch of high profile names for the hopeful new series. Details are being kept close to the vest at this point, but given Abrams’ penchant for action and Kripke’s tendency towards creepy suspense, would-be viewers have a lot of material to contemplate!
