3 Years Later...
So where the time goes. You never know where time will take you. Last time I posted in this damn thing I was waiting for acceptance to Emerson College. Here I am...graduated from Emerson living in Hollywood, Ca. The real city of sin. To catch you up on my life thus far:
1. Dan and I broke up in 2006, after being pregnant and losing the baby I had a real life awakening. 1 of many I have had since. I realized this was it, baby, marriage, the end. I was not ready for that at all. So I ran away from it. Broke a guys heart in the process, although breaking his heart is an understatement. He is fine now and we still chit chat here and there, he's going to be a daddy with his current girlfriend. So congrats!
2. I lived with my best friend Katie aka ktizzle aka biffy, for a year and a half in the Q. This was the most theraputic experience thus far. When you have a best friend whose been through the same things emotionally, there is no explanation of how close you are with that person. We ripped up the town, and other towns in the process. I know we will be best friends til death, even with a current 3000 miles between us.
3. I had a three(s). Only a few of you will get this but when you have one boyfriend for 4 years, a girl can go crazy when she's single. I'm not afraid to admit I played a few, seriouslly liked a few, was played by one or two in the process and ONE even ripped my heart out TWICE. Asshole.
4. I met Mikey. This is a romantic story. A true moviesque event. I used to see this guy all the time in the Q. Driving around with biffy in the summer, I'd see this punked out guy with gauges, and a guitar strapped on his back walking around. I'd always be like "oh heyy!". Long story short, biffy came home one night after clubbing, I was sleeping after a long day on set. She came into my room and said "that hot boy you like is in our living room!". I pranced downstairs sans make-up and in my pebbles pj's, said "hi" and went back upstairs. Few nights later we hung out all night watching movies. Next morning I had to go to work, when I came home, there was a matchbook outside my door with a guitar pic that said "lets play the text game sometime" with his phone number. How fucking adorable.
5. We moved to Hollywood. Dating only 6 months we packed up my Explorer, said goodbye to the east and moved to the city of angeles. Quick rundown of people and places I will frequently talk about.
A. DCMA COLLECTIVE: Mikeys work, Benji and Joel Maddens (Good Charlotte) clothing line. Also makes some kick ass shoes called K-DCMA (A collaboration of K-SWISS and DCMA)
B. FLOYDS: My work, back east after the photo studio closed I started working in the beauty industry and worked at a Barbershop on Mass Ave called "Floyds". I now work at the one on Melrose Ave. in Hollywood.
C. COURTING FAME:(CF) (MIKE STARR, JENN STARR, TRAVIS, GABE, JOEL) is a band that Mikey and I are friends with and may be touring with this summer. Check their myspace out. We tend to party with them on Fri, Mon and Wed. nights.
D. PAT and TAYLOR: Club promoter/friend and his very talented singer girlfriend. Usually hang out with them on the same nights we are with CF.
E. RSN- interning term, means I was on a photoshoot, working at the studio, etc.
F. Metro- thats the horrid transit system here in LA.
