We are Adventuring, We are Adventurers!
It's been a pretty crazy couple of days around these parts! Yesterday, we went to Subway for lunch, and I'm still coasting on the excitement from that. But tonight! Tonight, some of my co-workers are taking me to a town called Ohakune so I can witness, in all its majesty and splendour, a 14-foot tall carrot. Canada and New Zealand share the same affinity for over-sized giant tourist landmarks. Maybe we also share an affinity for inferiority complexes. The world's largest pierogie, anyoneÉ Needless to say, I have been looking forward to this all week!!! I'm putting new batteries in my camera in anticipation. I haven't a clue about posting pictures on LJ, but if/when I figure it out, perhaps my very first picture post will be in order!
